In the Uk and Europe I use a Tom Tom Sat Nav system in my car.
Is anything like that available in Thailand?

May you be in heaven half an hour before the devil know`s you`re dead!
Garmin has a Thailand map, which can be used in Garmin navigation devices. This map comes on a CD.
I purchased it in Bangkok in March and asked them to put in my Garmin Nüvi, which I normally use in Europe.
The results were better then I expected. I usually rent a car to drive to Ban Krut, +/- 160 Kms south of Hua Hin and I was surprised with the detail in even such a remote area as Ban Krut.
Simply google: Garmin Thailand, to find all the necessary details where to buy the map, or a device with a pre-loaded Thai map.
There are also some torrent sites from where you can download this software, but it requires some hacking skills to get it working on your Garmin device.
