doing research over the internet first.
latest research tell me hua hin is a drought area and there are water problems..eg. water shortage.. this is quite a turn off.

Yes, it is a very dry area. Is it a turn off? Personally, I'd say no. Quite to the contrary, I find it one of the attractions.eden8 wrote:latest research tell me hua hin is a drought area and there are water problems..eg. water shortage.. this is quite a turn off.

Research all you like and question all you like. The only way to suss it out is to visit and cruise the area for a month minimum IMO

Looking at the at 30 years of data, Hua-Hin both has the lowest rainfall per year in Thailand and the lowest mm/rainy day. That is also one of the reasons why we choose the Hua-Hin area.
But if you like more rain you can take a look at the link. It will show you where and when the rain falls in Thailand.

When it does rain here, it really rains. However, it sounds as though you need to look elsewhere.
