FANTASIA SHOW

Post by pj2904 »

Hi,

I saw this last time we made a trip to Thailand. I heard somewhere that it is no longer around due to the Tsunami! Is this true. I really enjoyed the show.

Fantasea Show in Phuket

Post by THAM »

I was there in June for the 2nd time. Still an awesome show.
Everything is back to normal as far as the show is concerned.
Kamala still has construction going on though. That is where the show is located on the island.
Patong beach is back to normal.

I have been twice, last time in 2005. My only question is whether to pay for the gold buffet or regular. Any experience? Heading back in Jan 2007 and plan on attending with some newbie visitors.

 Saw the show last July. Full house. Everything as normal. The regular buffet was fine. I think the Gold entitles you to a bevy or two but the grub is the same for everyone. Tip..Leave your mobile phone & camera's in your hotel . These are not allowed under any circumstances & they make a big deal of it. Also if you do bring a phone or camera you will have to leave it at security for collection after the show. It will take an age to get out. Best seats are towards the centre of the theatre. Enjoy, it's a fab show.

 My info needs correction. You can take photo's anywhere outside of the theatre. Silly of me. There are lots of great photo's to be had outside. Sorry about that chief.
