DVD Format

Post by Jockey »

Sorry if this has been asked before. I was about to send over DVD's from the UK when I noticed a warning - Format = Region 2 (This DVD will probably NOT be viewable in other countries).

Is Region 2 viewable in Thailand and if so do you need a special make or model of DVD player?

most Thai purchased DVD players will play all regions DVD's if not you can alter the coding via your remote hand set

have a read of this http://www.dvdcity.com/resources/regionfreedvd.html
