Go-karts

Is there a go-kart track in or near Hua Hin? Our message board members in Pattaya get together once a month and rent one of the local tracks for an hour or so.....great fun!!

I have been walking around and over Soi dogs for years, and never had any problems until last month in Chiang Mai...I was walking from my hotel, the Queen Victoria, towards the Thapae Gate, and passing by a small bar area on the way...suddenly two local curs took after me, and wouldn't give up...the...

Change is a fact of life; nothing stays the same forever. I too live in a tourist area, although a very seasonal one, and the changes I have seen here in the last 25 years have been drastic. You just have to find fun wherever you can, and try to live with or forget the bullshit. I haven't visited Hu...

I only got drunk on Chang once, and that was enough for me....terrible hangover the next day....and no, I don't remember how many I drank. The stuff is poison, I think I'll stick to Kloster or Heineken....which are 5.5% in comparison to Chang's 6.2%.

Yeah, I'm really looking forward to it....my regular driver goes back and forth from BKK-Pattaya-Hua Hin regularly, and after I spend my usual time in Pattaya I'll probably just get her to drive straight thru to HH...save me the trouble of overnighting in BKK. I try to meet some of the local expats ...

Jeez, much as I try, I just can't keep count...the more fun you are having, the least likely you are to remember these sort of things...just go with the flow.....I've had a few evenings in Pattaya where I got completely blotto, but still managed to get home in one piece...even waking up next to a cu...

I like Uncle Tom's take on this topic...I think the reason I am interested in visiting HH is because I am looking for a good time in a mellow spot...I've always had a great time in Pattaya, but occasionally it is just a little much...I want a great beach to relax on, and good, but not necessarily cr...

Baan Boosarin

Does anybody have any info on a hotel called the Baan Boosarin? I saw it on the map, and remembered that a friend of mine stayed there a few years ago and said he liked it....I've seen a couple of short reviews elsewhere on the net that say it is a nice friendly small hotel, the kind I like to stay ...

I found out about this site through a query/reply by other members of the Pattayatalk forum, and thought I would check it out as I had become interested in visiting Hua Hin.

Another bloody colonial...

Hi everyone, just joined today....I have been interested in Hua Hin for some time now, and hope to drop down there for a week or so next trip, which will hopefully be in the latter part of November. I just returned from two months in Thailand and Bali, and like most LOS addicts I was planning my nex...
