6 Days !

Went to hull to get non imm O visa (single entry). reaaly helpful, in and out in 10 mins with visa.

make sure when you go in on non imm visa you have proof of exit status (they dont like 1 way tickets). We got a cheapie out to Malaysia towards end of 90 days just in case with Air Asia.

well, only 10 days now until we do the big one and move to Hua Hin. Panic stations at times but running on target.
Will keep up to date if peopele are interested - may help to share any problems we had / have with ohers

Non O 3 vs 12 month initially

Getting over there to retire at end of June. Still debating over whether to go for a 3 month Non O and sort out changing to retirement when we have been there a couple of months or whether to go for Non O 1 year with all the more complicated application issues. Any advice appreciated.

Keep trying. Try a different person / different day. If you have a contact who has sa business account with them should be ok as they act as a sort of sponsor.
I opened one 2 weeks ago no hassle, opened in 15 mins with ATM card. (Bangkok Bank Hua Hin Branch )

Well, I ust visited Bangkok Bank, opened an account in 15 mins with ATM card (300 bht).
I have found Nationwide in UK by far the best with best rates and ease of use

Only have a small area around house but need it grassing over etc. It would need a topsoil base as builders rubble is not the best environment for plants !! (althoigh drainage would be good !)
Anyone know anyone / anywhere I could get this done at a reasonable price
