May I voice my opinion, from the point of view of a single female, working full time in Hua Hin (some of you know who I am!) I have been living in Thailand for 10 years now, about 7 of which have been in Hua Hin and all of them I have been employed. I have had difficult times and I've had great time...

I bought a drill in Homepro (I think it was Makita) a couple of years ago and it has been used regularly by me and passed around the neighbours! I think it cost a couple thousand. We have been given forms at work (hotel on main road) to be completed by all car owners - apparantly for a sticker, which will stop you having to spend hours at all the checkpoints......

Is there a place on HHAD where one can find out where to buy things not usually found here?

For example - I've been trying to find a skipping rope in Hua Hin but with no luck. (Even been to Home-pro in the hope of suitable rope! But no)

Where? You can buy glasses at any corner in this town, but I've been trying to buy a nice silver picture frame - can't find them anywhere.....
