Re: Round Baking Tins

Try to pull that spindle out with your fingers. They are usually removable and just slip in and out of the hole. That apparatus that holds the glass turntable is usually completely made of plastic, frame and small wheels. I don't think any of it would hold up to conventional cooking temperatures for...

Re: Round Baking Tins

The combo units I've had over the years, when not microwaving the turntable doesn't spin. You just take off that glass platter and the underlying frame and you can put in any kind of square cooking container you want to . Pete

Re: The Rugby Thread

Well, the lesson from the first half is "Don't ever listen to what Pete predicts...." All Blacks look sluggish and timing off. Australia looks sharp. I would expect a lot of NZ bench coming on early in the second half. Pete

Re: Renew US Passport by Mail

It's mailed from the Bangkok embassy via registered EMS. We've done it three times now and hasn't been a problem. Pete  Edit: For clarification we haven't done the "renew by mail" but the normal renewal requiring a visit to the embassy. New passports under that process can be mailed locally ...
