Thank you - My first selfmade skylantern is in the sky - tomorrow the newspaper they will discus an UFO!

At new years eve we saw many beautiful sky lanterns in the night, I did not find any shop where these things can be bought. Anybody knows??

We have been there this evening - got one of the last free tables. Scallops on the shell with onions and garlic - delicious! Just perfect the salad of pomeloes with prawn - it would be a sensation even in Paris. The well known half duck, flavoured with "six spices" and the best french frie...

Hello,
I stay for a few month in HH and I shall be visited by my very young grandchildren. Does anybody know if there are Pediatricians ("specialiced Doctors for diseases in childhood") available in HH.

schlauwieschlumpf - difficult to explain - a schlumpf is a funny little comic figure and a schlauwieschlumpf is somebody who has a answer to any question - even before he read and understood it. A word by word translation would be "clever like a dwarf" but i doesnt sound so nice.... :P :P sd

We have been there in August - a very nice and clean restaurant, bigger than in HH, steaks and duck and other food same good quality as before. A little far away from downtown HH. In two weeks we will try again. Anybody been there in last weeks?

If you cannot afforde to eat in the hideaway beach reastaurant - just look for another hotel. The kitchen is the best in hua hin area - and who wants to feed his wife on the 4th honemoon with cheep hawker food from the beach....

It`s nice BIG BOY, that you defend the beach of Hua Hin - I did so the last 15 years. I have been in HH in this time at least twice a year in the summer and in european winter - but I shall not come back to a central Hotel in HH - one of the reasons is the beach. The beach in the Marriot-Hyatt-Area ...

We have been in Sofitel last New-Year-Holiday, the hotel is excellent but we found the beach in that aerea very dirty and noisy, full of rubbisch (old chairs, torn matrasses, broken sunshades, plastic bags, horse-shit .......) Fast riding horse-boys were dangerous galloping through playing kids. Lou...

What`s the situation now in July (24) - will iI get my Currywurst and Warsteiner in 2 weeks or is the new location still under construction?
