Re: how much spending money

Hey, Pete, I've noticed you like the Phillies. Do you know that the Doc Halladay threw a perfect game for the Phillies baseball team last night. It was only the 20th in Major League history. Great to watch if you go to the MLB website. Cheers, pal. Yep saw that in the news. The games are o...

Re: how much spending money

Hahahahaha, you obviously haven't seen my photos from 1987 on t'other thread. I'm 100% male, I think. :? Thanks, Pete. That makes sense. You've broke my budget down, perfectly. I feel less apprehensive now. You never know, my old pal Johhny. W. at El Murphy's may buy me one on the house. The photo ...

Re: how much spending money

I'll probably stay in Hua Hin for 1/2 months and when the accommodation money has gone, I'll either move to Ko Pha-Ngan for some serious partying or to the "never been to", chilled out north east. Thoughts, guys and dolls, please? I do believe Jings has some nice little rooms for bu...

Re: how much spending money

And here's me thinking how long I'd last on a budget of £100 a week after accommodation. Methinks I'd better move somewhere else... :?

Re: Political un-rest and rally

Appologies for the length of the post, this was a piece by Robert Woodrow that I received by email - hence couldn't provide a link. Makes interesting reading though..... Here's what you need to know about the rural have-nots of Thailand. They are the richest poor people in the Third World. And they...

It's all done and dusted now as far as you're concerned.

I wouldn't even bother changing your plans.
Which one is the quickest and cheapest run, BaaBaa?

Re: Political un-rest and rally

Well Ms Ellycat, they are probably being over dramatic about it now, usually they like to 'ham it up' etc for effect but it shouldn't be a drama now. Hua Hin is fine, and there's no problem at the airport either. If you are just flying in and then taking a taxi to HH then I can't see any dramas. Do...

Re: Political un-rest and rally

So how's things in Hua Hin, guys and dolls? The Foreign and Commonwealth Office are advising against non essential travel to Bangkok. I rang my tour operator and he told me that they were offering full refunds on flights up to May 31st., so basically I have to ring back around the 15th June to see i...

Tattoo Parlours.

Hello, peeps. Are there any decent tattoo artists in Hua Hin or would I have to go further afield? Has anybody you know been inked whilst in Thailand, and were they happy with it? I had one done in Patong (Phuket) in 2003 and was quite happy with it, and it was CHEAP!! Thanks in advance. Ellycat. :c...
