Re: City Water Bills

So today I went to the water office, new bill in hand and 104 baht in change. I was met with smiling service, and the message that you already pay automatically via the bank. Good news, I hope. Seems there will be teething problems until the app and the direct debit get coordinated, but it should be...

Re: City Water Bills

Thank you. I cracked it. My Google account was linked to the UK and the HHSmart app is not available in the UK store. I had to change my country of residence for Google to Thailand, and then the app appeared in Play Store.

Re: City Water Bills

Apologies if this has been covered off elsewhere (if so could someone add a link?). But...having had our water paid on direct debit each month as usual, we now have our first bill under this new system. Does anyone know if the HHSmart app is available anywhere? I've searched Google Play and Apple Ap...

Re: TM30 Slip in Passport

I hope this isn't off at a tangent...but if I am staying in my own house (company name, with a blue book) on a tourist visa, do I need to do a TM30? And will I need one to get a 30 day extension?
Thanks in advance.

Re: Flying to/from Thailand, latest updates

Just a quick note about international Big Brother I needed a new International Driving Permit, so got some photos done at Boots (here in the UK), just in the usual DIY photo booth. 2 days later, getting all the stuff ready to apply for Thailand Pass, I thought I'd check if the Morchana app was still...

Re: Coronavirus Precautions/News/Updates for Hua Hin/Prachuap

How will they get here? By horse?     'Tis a good question. Stuck here in Blighty since dashing back from HH last March, we're grateful for any glimmer of hope to be able to get back to see if the house is still standing. (Q for anyone in Soi 6, is our house still...

Re: Thailand tourist slump continues

I'm sure this will be a silly question, but does anyone know whether it is actually possible to get Hua Hin, as a "tourist", at the moment? If I go to Phuket and quarantine for 10 days, can I then get up to Hua Hin?

Re: Electricity and Water Charges

Can I ask a quick question here (actually two)? I'm stuck in the UK at the moment, with little obvious prospect of a return anytime soon. We have the utility bills on direct debit - which usually works very well. But...PEA hasn't billed for July and August, although I can see online that they have r...

Re: Hua Hin dual-track rail project to go ahead

My understanding was that China was funding the northern link (ie BKK to Lao). The southern link (HH and down to Singapore) is funded by Japan.

Re: Bars in or near city still open?

Happy to report that most restaurants appear to be open still. As quiet as October, but open. And thanks, we had a really nice pizza.
