Re: Premier League 2024-25

I doubt that you’ll find anything specifically naming the person, but I’ve seen speculation related to. “I’m forever blowing bubbles”!! So, three separate allleged incidents, one going back to the 90's, all investigated by the Police and no further action taken. The complaint now seems to be that t...

Sure, but it won't be at the weekend.

Re: Sam Phan Nam Floating Market re-opens

Which of the three is this? The one directly on 112, the one off of 112, or the one near Wat Huay Mongkol? I never went to any of them, but might check the re-opened one out on a dry day!

Re: Chanthaburi Tales - Photo Report

Yes, I know, I've actually driven it from one end to the other. But it by-passes Chonburi and you can pick up the same road to Chantaburi from route 7. I never meant to take it until the end! I just checked the route and it gives 4 minutes difference, but for hassle free driving, I'd take that.

Re: Chanthaburi Tales - Photo Report

Nice report, thanks. Never been there, and although the city sounds interesting, the hellish drive through Bangkok and down the other side would put me off! Your comments about driving through the Chonburi bottleneck remind me of the Nakhon Pathom area - its a similar shitfight if you want to go no...

Re: Weather in Hua Hin & Thailand

Must have hammered down around soi102 at some stage. I drove back from Bkk earlier, and the drainage either side was virtually overflowing, and they only dredged it out in the last couple of weeks, but still there was a large area stretching a few hundred metres where the whole road was affected, a...

Re: Premier League 2024-25

We should have done much better and it's really disappointing. That's a bit harsh, I found it hugely entertaining... It's actually quite refreshing to be back at the stage where we expect to win, as the norm. Much of the side, despite the plethora of new signings before this season, is st...

Re: Premier League 2024-25

Chelsea's worst performance of the season by a country mile against a poor United team. We should have done much better and it's really disappointing. Sanchez is a liability, such a rash challenge and not needed, Jackson couldn't get into the game, nor could a few others. Gusto has blown his chance ...

The samosas look like dumplings!

Was there any other sauce served with the bhaji's?

Re: Major Economic Issues For Thailand

Well, another article from Chartchai Parasuk, exposing the lies in financial data used to hide the truth about the state of the Thai economy. Somewhere along the line, the whole facade must surely come tumbling down? I don't understand why the opposition don't pick up on these? In this article, he e...

Re: Flights to/from Thailand status, news, and updates

I believe Eva and Thai fly direct from LHR to BKK. This is a newly revived route that was axed during Covid. Sorry I meant the BA LHR - BKK route which appears dead if they now going from LGW Sent from my M2007J20CG using Tapatalk Cheaper operating costs. BA long ago decided post covid, that whilst...

Re: Hua Hin on Its Way to Becoming a “Special Tourist City”

Yes, I just read that in ther paper and thought I would copy it here - lol! I have mixed views about this. It may or may not explain why so many areas of down town Hua Hun currently look like a tip, but I suspect not. Money and personal gain is the driver here, and you can almost see those in power ...
