^ The guy sounds like a decent bloke - I hope Manure doesn't ruin him...

What a glorious start to the weekend.

Forest into third! City lose to Bournemouth. Weird day of footy. It's a must win for Tottenham tomorrow against Villa otherwise we could see ourselves slip into the bottom half of the table!
A MUST win.

Sonny back in the starting line-up!
Romero fit to play.
I'm ready to get hurt again.

Scrappy first half devoid of any real quality. Our featheresque goalkeeper being done on a corner again (great shot-stopper, horrible presence on corners).
We'll see Maddison and Bissouma on shortly I'd imagine.

Re: Premier League 2024-25
Strangest decision I've seen from Ange bringing Sonny off (and I've seen him play eight lads on the halfway line when down to nine men against Chelsea). Son was flying from the whistle! We were flying.
Bloody strange decision, now our vice-captain Romero's off (after Sonny's replacement Richie lost the ball).
If we don't win this...

Massive Massive win. We could have been 8 points behind Villa if we lost. Possibly 13th by the end of the day. Now we're 2 points of Arse and Villa (4th and 5th) with a much better goal difference.
Crikey, I can actually thoroughly enjoy the United vs City game now.

Re: Premier League 2024-25
Chelsea's worst performance of the season by a country mile against a poor United team. We should have done much better and it's really disappointing. Sanchez is a liability, such a rash challenge and not needed, Jackson couldn't get into the game, nor could a few others. Gusto has blown his chance in the free roving role, so many times he was in possession in really good positions in the 1st half and wasted the opportunity everytime. No surprise he was pulled at half time. Far better to play James in that role. United huffed and puffed and I doubt many of this team will be there next season, so a draw was a fair result. Even the fact Martinez stayed on the pitch when he should have seen red wouldn't have made a difference to the outcome. A decent result for United, a poor one for Chelsea.
Talk is cheap
