I must be thick with a capital K.
I have just realised that the wanker bonus is incremented every week (or in my case when I stuck it on a lose) decremented by minus 2. No wonder all of you are keeping up with me. Your bonus is higher that mine. Just wait until I stick it on the right match and then I will have a ten point bonus every week.

Well, what a week.
Guess has overtaken me - but only aphabetically - and we're in sight of the leader.
After watching the Chelsea game last night and going to sleep knowing that my banker bonus was gone, I thought I'd be in a much worse position this morning.
Well, a lot of us must have also banked on Chelsea. Buksida'a the only one who's got any bonus left. You've done something right for the first time in weeks, Buksida. Who the hell did you have your banker on?

Put it on the Arse v City game ... not that it helped me very much getting most of the others wrong .... again.lomuamart wrote: Buksida'a the only one who's got any bonus left. You've done something right for the first time in weeks, Buksida. Who the hell did you have your banker on?

Guess, the BB gets zeroed if you put it on a wrong prediction.

As long as your banker game dosn't have the wrong outcome, whatever points you get for the game are doubled, plus you get a bonus of 1 pt. The bonus accumulates by one pt each week to a max of 4 points, as long as you don't lose on the game.Guess wrote:Errrrrhhhm,
Not make sense. How come everybody's (except one) banker bonus has been zeroed. Does not seem to tie up with the rules.
As soon as you bank on a game and get the wrong outcome - ie minus 1 point - it's doubled to minus 2 and your accumulated total - 1,2,3 or 4 points - is reset to zero.
So, Buksida will be points up against everyone for concievably the next three weeks, unless his banker bombs out, in which case he's back to zero as well.
Does that explain it?
Don't lose your bonus - as we all did this week.

Yes thanks, good explanation. What I found difficult was that everybody bar one lost their bonus. Perhaps we all made the same mistake and banked Chelsea which on current for, upuntil yestersay wold guarantee at least 1 BB and maybe 2 or 3.
I can not help but noticing though there is a bit of a lead opening up by the top three.

Yeah, there is a bit of a lead
. But a long way to go!!
Thing is that with the banker, it's in two stages. One it doubles your score and second gives a bonus of 1 each time accumulating to the max of 4.
So, assuming your banker works, the minimum you'll get is 2 pts and a max of 6. Plus the bonus, whatever that is at the time. So, you could get 10 pts off one game!!
You can play your insurance on the banker game as well, but that dosn't seem to make much sense, only that if the banker is the wrong outcome, instead of losing 2 points, you lose zero. The bonus is wiped out though.
Dunno why I'm telling you all this. I should be letting you and possibly others, proceed in blissful ignorance
