Yes if only we could get suet here! I used to make a great ginger pudding but it needs suet.

If the kitchen roll does not work -due to humidily try an inverted plate or saucer put on slightly askew

Never mind spotted dick - jam rolly poly :) :) :P

My wife and her friends in the UK are quite familiar with semolina. I think that familiarity originates in Thailand. You must be able to get it there.

I've got a vague memory of seeing semolina in LOS somewhere - probably in a heap in some market - or maybe the Chinese store on Chomsin? They have also been known to stock suet - in lumps, not a packet. But surely JD stocks it now?

You see i am retired I DONT work (four letter word) I DONT do business
I have had 3 heart attacks and the 50 yard 3 stop shuffle to the dustbins to throw out the rubbish is a very tiring proposition.
So i lie on my sette switching between Al Jazeera,Fox,BBC and australian TV my computer is behind my settee and beeps when i get a topic reply notification and as LEV is so kind and well mannered to send them i feel obliged in my self to answer them except between 330 and 430 when looney toons are on   :naughty:

Arcadian you are a diamond  my son i must admit i was a bit septical but thats probably because i am an old fashioned diehard in the wool and although i have owned my micro wave for a very long time other than microwaving chicken before i BBQ or fry its hardly been used
I did half the grediants in your PM cos i only had a small basin (Mrs Sarge will recieve a rollicking for using my big one for cooking oil)
It came out absolutely perfick I think i might put a bit more honey in the bottom next time
Tastes great perfick texture and wiv some whipped cream awwezzzzum

Thanks a bunch
