Cigars

Post by migrant »

I've never cared for cig's, but have become fond of an occasional cigar. Because it's infrequent, I tend to like a quality cigar, Cuban or Honduran (some sources are still available in the US).

Any good, reputable places to buy stogies?

My friend who smoked the occasional cigar used to buy them in the former digital kodak supermarket now called something else. Its just round the corner from bookazine opposite the 7/11 on the police station road. They have a glass cabinet in the shop selling all manner of stogi (is that the plural of stogies?) :rasta:
I do believe they also smoke the occasional cigar in the Blue Angel...

The person to ask would probably be Barry in JWs, as he is a regular cigar (or maybe cigarillo?) smoker. However I do know that they are sold in the little off licence/liquor store in the Shopping Mall, which is just by the checkouts for the supermarket section.

The big question, Some people say you dont inhale Big cigar smoke, Seems pointless excersize really, Ive seen people dip the end of their cigar in Spirits before. Tom Jones dips his in Listerine apparently!.

I always had a thing for "Old Ports"....these were cheap cigars dipped in some form of old cheap Port apparently.....tasted pretty good to me

Listerine would give you a sort of menthol kick I suppose

Friends have shown me, and I have tried, dipping the end you inhale from into your drink of choice.

Probably wouldn't work with Chang, or Mekong (maybe set thebar on fire) but you do get some of the flavor.

I've tried it with a nice brandy and calvados, pretty good.
