Hua Hin Food Festival 2008

Post by buksida »

The annual Hua Hin food festival is back for its eleventh year:

Dates: November 5th - 9th
Time: 5pm Onwards
Location: 19 Rai
More info: 032-511047

Source: Hua Hin 4U

I have been to these before and they are really worth the look, all of the big hotels have stalls and you can sample grub from across the globe. There is the usual Thai-style fairground attractions and a stage with local bands performing.

Ahhh Yeah I know ther place!!!

Here's an interesting Tale from 7 years ago during my Study years @ Stamford Hua Hin Campus.
During that Time a few Seniors of our Univ decided to fil up the SGA (STudent Government Association) Teasury by openning a stall @ the food festival selling Fresh cold Oysters. @ the end of the Food fest me and my roommate decided to snatch a couple of those yellow painted SIngha Beer foldable metal chairs and simply loaded them on a friends pick up without them folks from Singh Beer and them organisers ever noticing it. Them chairs stayed with me and my roomate and later me til late 2004 when I graduated.

I noticed on another site that this festival was listed as being in December on the 5th to the 9th.

A google search suggested that it is normally held at the end of November.

Could someone please confirm the dates please.

I will look a bit silly if I drag the whole family along to an empty park.

Thanks

Not sure what misleading 'other sites' you've been reading :|

This comes from the official TAT site and Hua Hin Tessabahn site.

http://www.huahin.go.th/news_public_detail.asp?id=940

I wouldn't bother with those other sites if I were you
