Media playing software
Downloaded Quantum for the upteenth time and GOM picked it up sraight away and played the Winrar files. Something all my other players didn't do

Tried the KM Player and it is a good all rounder that handles video and audio files. It uses a Winamp Plugin so you can view your library and create play lists also. Its lighter than Winamp so better for lower powered machines.
My problem is organising the physical files on the hard disk so am currently downloading this since I used it before to sort out the mess and re-tag tracks:

To my experience, VLC can play almost everything but the playlist isn't handy enough. Anyway, it's one of the best video software.
If winamp can hog you machine, Realplayer will certainly do the same(plus some more)
Itune is not a good option if you don't own an Ipod. Also resource hog.
I would recommend MediaMonkey,you can look for it on google. I'am using it but have no idea on equalizer(I never use EQ myself).
