I have been asked by some Brit Rotary Members in Hua Hin to post details of the following on their behalf.

A Christmas (500) Thai Children will not forget

Event to take place on 24th December 2008


Dear People,

We are looking for support with regard to a special event this year for (500) local Thai children, to give them a special day. As you may know Christmas is a happy time for giving, a day to forget your problems.

Myself a Rotary member and a few others are putting this special day together, we are looking for any contributions in any form.

Every child will receive a gift and of course will meet Santa. If you wish to contact myself for further information, please use my email or mobile phone number.

We will put up a collection box at The Hua Hin Ham & Bacon Company shop on Soi 41 for anyone wishing to contribute funds. You can leave your name and email address for a thank you follow up from the Rotary team. Names of contributers will be published in their news follow up after the event.

Apart from putting a collection box in the shop, I have nothing to do with this event.

I was asked by the organiser to post details on the forum on their behalf.

Given a little more information I am sure your wonderfull gesture will receive more tangible support. EG: Where is it being held & what time. Are volunteers required,do you require foodstalls, any info at all. I'm just trying to be helpfull :D :cheers:

I've emailed the guy housedoctor asking where it is. Was thinking same thing.

David the organiser, replied that it is near Springfield Golf Course and we would be welcome to attend and help.
He will give more details in the near future.
