Don't even mention the aircraft carrier that doesn't move.
And the nine ex-Spanish navy AV-8 Harrier Matador variants that were supposed to fly off it, but don’t have any serviceable engines.
Looking for a job, Steve?

Seeing as how it’s about minus two and freezing fog here, it wouldn’t be a bad idea!

Most of the forested and border areas were controlled by communist insurgents in years gone by. Many of what we now enjoy as National Parks in Thailand were once no-go areas as a result and were the scene of lots of anti-insurgency operations. Thailand seems to have had plenty of border disputes and battles with warlords of one sort or another down the years. I'd guess it's a hangover from those times.

And these things don't only happen in Thailand - there are parts of Britain that have not been hooked up with electricity:

From Jaime's link:
The National Grid said Abergeirw in Gwynedd was the last village in its network area to be fully connected.
The last of 95 poles stretching five miles (8km) was erected earlier this month, meaning residents will enjoy their first mains-powered Christmas.
Gary Evans, of ScottishPower, said constructing the supply line had thrown up "many challenges".
I can see why it took so long if it was connected by Scottish-Power; isn’t there a bit of the Irish sea between Scotland and Snowdonia?
