Don't want to sound cynical - but based on experience here, the earthing problem could well be that you simply don't have any.

This man is listed here: http://hhbd.net/hua-hin-property-land.htm

Nut Air Services: 089 259 7692

He speaks good English, and worked in the Middle East as an Electrician.
To say any Thai is "qualified" is streching it a bit far, but he has had some "expat" training.

??????? In a few minutes I have managed to count a few dozen Thai friends with Phd/Ma/Msc/Ba/Bsc qualifications .Many of whom I have worked with in the past .I would guess they can all spell "stretching" correctly .

I suggest you contact Fern at Home Property Services, they have an office near market village. She has a great electrician and she can arrange everything for you. She also has all other tradespeople on her books and gives a excellent service.

What having a Phd/Ma/Msc/Ba/Bsc has got to do with being a "qualified" electrician, streching or otherwise, escapes me. But then I am not a smart arse.
