A very interesting match going on at the moment; Derby County vs Nottingham Forest. It´s Clough jr´s new club vs his ex-club and his father made great things with both of them in the 70´s.

Too right mate, it was meant as an ironic 'we're going to get stuffed' thing. Think I used the wrong emoticon

Its the law!!:D

Whenever a player plays against his old team he has to score. I didn't hear any complaints when Defoe scored against Portsmouth
Championship Plymouth Argyle 1 - 2 Leeds Utd

Points 46; Position 23 RELEGATED

True enough.
In his first Spurs spell Defoe's opening goal was against Portsmouth, in his second spell same team.

Berbatov will Probably get winner in Carling Cup final too
That's life.

Glad to see the real scousers beat the plastic scousers, but the game also demonstrated ITV's inability to cover football. Five minutes before the end of extra time, adverts kicked in for one minute before being scrapped and what had happened when we returned to the game - Everton had scored!

ITV are shite at covering footie and should be banned.

Hope Torres and the Saint are okay?

Coventry 0 Chelsea 2......predictable scoreline.
Fulham 0 Man Utd 4.....surprised it was so easy for United.

I reckon Everton and Arsenal will win todays games, then Arsenal will beat Hull in their Round 6 match.
So last 4 of Chelsea,United,Arsenal and Everton. If that happens we should be in for a decent final, unlike last year.

Goodness, anyone hear what Phil Brown had to say after Hull got cheated by a linesman at the Arse tonight?

The Arse won 2-1 after Hull took the lead. Arsenal came back strongly in the 2nd half, but Gallas was so far offside for the winner, the linesmans inability to flag offside beggars belief!

So what did Brown say? He slagged off the linesman and referee, fair enough, they screwed up in the big decision. He then accused Fabregas of spitting in the face of his asst. manager, Brian Horton (and Horton has said he will make a formal complaint to the FA in the morning) and that Wenger (Arse manager) was involved in getting Hull players booked for time wasting because of his actions on the touchline - the panel agreed with him on that - and then of having such an influence, that being the reason for the goal being awarded. They didn't agree with that.

Clearly, there is history between Wenger and Brown and Hull and Arsenal and Wenger walked off without even acknowledging Brown. Poor form.

It has the be said that Mike Riley, the ref, had a poor game, he's up there with Rob Styles in the incompetence stakes.

Should be interesting to see what the outcome of this is? Brown fined I suspect.

It was a good game for the neutral!

And Wenger, when shown the goal, thought it was good. He's blind.
