PAD rally in Hua Hin 13/2/09

Post by lomuamart »

I'm afraid I've got no source for this except my wife, but PAD are coming to town tonight.
Originally scheduled to take place at the open space on Damnoen Kasem Road just after the Red Cross, it has now been moved to 19 rai by The Palace.
Don't know who's speaking, but affairs kick off around 4-6pm. There will be lots of clapping hands, music, food and political rhetoric. No booze apparantely, so I'm not going.
I've suggested that the missus wears my HHAD shirt, but she reckons she'll be stoned to death. I live in hope

They're burgundy dammit. :cuss:

Not sure what the yellow mob hope to achieve, Hua Hin is PAD country anyway so there won't be too much action.

I heard it from a Bangkok vendor who sold to both sides when it happened in BK. She's down here to profit again

This monumental event went ahead tonight, but was transferred back to The Red Cross place.????? My wife tells me that maybe 300 turned up.
She seems fairly happy, but appreciates that 300 odd supporters aren't going to exactly change matters especially when it's their stronghold anyway.
If anyone went to the wrong venue because of what I said before, I apologise.
It did happen, but not in a big way.

I'm still looking for free alcohol. I didn't attend the mass rally tonight because I heard there was none of it.
Then maybe I just wore the wrong colour of shirt - technicolour????
