As many of you know,(and many maybe don't) Quite a few ex-pats meet once a month either here in HH or in/around Cha-Am for a jolly jaunt on
cycles (normally mountain-bikes) thru the local countryside for about 30-35kms. These cycle-runs are not races and last about 2+ hours starting about 9.00am and including a coupla shop-stops for beer/water/M150 etc.
Well the next ride is penned in for either 23rd (Monday) or the 24th (Tues) of this month. The meeting place is gonna be at the Mongkol Driving Range just outside HH on the Pala-U road (thanks John & Yaa),
we aim for a 9.00 set-off, and there is lots of room to park your pick-up with cycle in da back if you dont fancy the big hill outa town.

So should I assume that a guy on a racing road bike riding at a good clip wouldn't really fit in?

Nah,sorry mate...ya tyres're to skinny,and ya heads pointin downwards towards the red-dust track that'll jump up and bite ya.
The ride is scheduled for the morning of next Tuesday (24th I think),8.30am+ meet-time,9.00am start from the venue above.
(thats if you can blag a mountain bike mate).

Hey there Cookie.
The next 'Hua-Cha Pedallers Ride will be on the morning of 31st March.
This month it will be hosted by the Cha-Am riders,so will be in/around Cha-am.
If you do not wish to ride up there for the 8.30am (ish) meet,plenty of pick-ups will be going up from HH so chuck your bike in 1 of em & blag a lift.
