GOOD NEWS !!!

Post by CraigDunn »

GOOD NEWS, ladies and gentlemen,

I have just received a call from my buddy Lars in the Swedish expat group who have close ties to Immigration because one of their members is married to one of the Imm. officers, to say that ...

Immigration will be relocated to Soi 23, beside Index, and they have sufficient funds to AC and equip their offices themselves.

Until an official announcement is made, of course, the validity of this message is based on inside information via the Swedes, who feel confident enough this evening about it to tell me, knowing I'll post it here.

cd.

That is good news if it comes off CD; not only is Soi 23 much nearer to central Hua Hin than Singkhon, it’s also nearer than Soi 102.

whether it is good news or not depends on whether they carry on implementing their own ideosyncratic views of thai immigration policy.

My thoughts exactly Sarge,

When I first came here I had to go to Bangkok and deal with Soi Suan Phlu for my visa renewal.

Ever since the Hua Hin immigration office opened the personnel there have been a pleasure to do business with compared to my experiences in BKK. :thumb: :thumb: :thumb:

New place for Immagration

Sounds great, but like stated, lets all wait and see if this really happens or not, I've learned (while living here) to take that approach first-

Just called them and can confirm this, they're moving to the old hospital building on Soi 23 that's now called the Business Centre or something, where the Observer offices and a number of dodgy property developers used to reside.

It will be open for business on Monday 23rd.
