Is there a good place to rent a motorbike monthly?
I've rented from a couple of places and I end up returning the bikes early because of mechanical brakedowns. I got spoilt on Koh Samui where I could rent a nearly new, low milage motorbike for 2K baht per month. Any suggestions?
Where to rent a clean motorbike?
Nice deal in Samui for 2K a month! That place is supposed to be rocket high for renting!
Hmm, best place of the top of my head is just outside the temple (facing soi bintaban) where all the taxi mobsters lurk! A friend of mine swore by them getting good deals on renting motorbikes.
If you are staying here a long time consider buying a bike second-hand...

Hey Norseman - we're at it again!!!Norseman wrote:Good advise Rider.
I've rented 5 bikes during the last years from that place and never had any kind of trouble or breakdowns.
They are also nice people, but don't speak much english.
The girls from the Spark and Flamingo bars nearly oppisite will help if they're open - they did for me!
Sorry - don't mean to teach people to suck eggs!

Try the lady in the Soi that goes to the beach between the Sofitel and the Hilton.
She and her brother both speak very good English and you will get a legal contract.
For a new bike during high season it might be more like 3000 Baht.
