I noticed last week that when I did searches on Wikipedia that the browser kept returning "cannot connect to server" messages.
Now, when I take the link, feed it into a proxy....Bingo.....page opens.
Is this happening to others?
This makes me think that the ICT (ie MiniTruth) have blocked access as the entries on the Thai Royalty contain some material that may, by MiniTruth at least, be considered controversial.
If the site had been blacklisted this sums up the dumbness of this censoring program: Instead of simply blocking access to the relevant pages they seem to have blocked the whole site....thus preventing access to a potentially valuable educational resource.....
still.....TIT eh?
Even funnier is that MiniTruth seem to believe that blocking sites works.....seems no-one explained that proxy servers bypass the blocks, and these actions will just encourage the use of such systems.....making tracking activity impossible (for them)........
Back west we call that "Shooting yourself in the foot"
