Hi Len.
Medical Care/Hospitalization fees depend on your age and what kind of treatment you want.
If you're 40 yrs old a normal annual fee would be about 20.000 Bth.
If you're 50 appx 25.000 Bth.
60 - 50.000 Bth.

You can get cheaper fees/treatment-hospitalization, but I'm referring to quality treatment-hospitalization and the most used by "my" casualty insurance company.

Just purchased some insurance on the Royal Sun Alliance, they offer discounts of 10% the prices they are asking are pretty cheap. :thumb:

This is Medical Care/Hospitalization. See my earlier post.
Did not mention any name, but it's BUPA health insurance.

You can find cheaper and more expensive insurances.
It all depends of what kind of treatment you want,
Cheap - Medium or Expensive.

If you had a motorbike accident I'm sure you want the treatment to be at the same level/standard as you'll get in EU/US. X-ray, arms & legs in plaster etc.

The Medium subscription is equal to good treatment.

Same thing goes for hospitalization.
Do you want to sleep in the corridors, have a room with 2-8 beds or have your very own nurse and a single room?

Got it?

It also depends on whether you want the option of being treated overseas and many, many more variables.

How much insurance is enough insurance? Enough that it pays for everything you will ever need wherever and whenver you will need it.

There are better areas of your life to cut corners. Top of the line coverage for a 50 year-old costs less than two beers in a bar each day.

To each his own.
