Someone with as much money as Thaksin won't go without a passport for long and will always have friends in high places. I'm surprised his buddy Hun Sen hasn't given him a Cambodian one, the arms flow into Issan stories have been running for a long time.

Well, according to The Nation, Thaksin has just left Dubai using his Thai passport claiming that all Thais are entitled to a passport and it cannot be revoked so easily, beligerently claiming that he expects all countries to accept it.

Dubai might have just accepted it to get rid of him and pass the problem on.

We'll see how that pans out, don't think it'll be quite that simple. He's buggered off to "swan" around Africa apparently, probably to see some despots and the "tin pot hat" brigade, should feel right at home with them.

Nicaragua should be a great place for him. It's a very poor banana republic and with his money he should be able to take over control of the country easily.

Better there than here... :|

Thaksin not welcome in UAE and they agreed to help extradite him so, apparently, he's gone to Liberia to discuss a huge investment.

This will be mis-interpretated as a post in bad taste.

All the red shirts should be buried alive and Toxsin should be given the death sentence for crimes against humanity. :guns:

This country would flourish without the violent, uneducated people of the North :guns: (excuse my generalization but it IS the majority)

Waiting for the onslaught.......

According to some reports he went back to Dubai after three days in Liberia which would tie up with this:

So you want to run a country with that crowd from Bangkok? I can’t see how swanning around shopping malls and double parking your Mercedes is going to make anything flourish!

Excuse my poor taste with humour....

The post was 'tongue in cheek'. My wife comes from up north and the beloved family.

The majority of the Thai population come from up north. And about 0.0001 percent came down and wreaked havoc in Bangkok. I have my issues about the Northerns thinking that they have a bad deal because Toxin is not around which is down to Education, but I in no means want what was said in my last post to be followed through.....

Well, thank you for replying anyway. To know that my little joke knocked away 2 minutes of your life makes me happy

P.S

The part about Toxin being given the death sentence was NOT a joke. He has killed many innocent people.
