Armed Robbery in Pattaya

Post by PeteC »

Check this one out, things are getting more aggressive than I've seen in a long time. I guess when I go shopping over there I'll need to wear my bullet proof vest. Pete

That’s pretty extreme when you start throwing grenades about to escape from robbing a shop!

Sadly violent crime will only increase as people become more desperate.

This one is not financially motivated but still pretty bad ...

A Thai man shot and killed his wife and two other Thais near Khao Sarn Road Monday night and accidentally shot and injured a Swedish tourist, police said.

she was selling clothes at her shop to try to mend their relationship.

But when she refused to mend the tie, the man became angry.
Boom boom. What was wrong with the bloke (the shooter) he had a good chance of off loading a whole lot of dirty washing so to speak ha, ha.
Good to see journos with a sense of humour!!
Ah "lamour" - the eternal Thai love triangle widens to include layabout younger man "helping". Whats that about cutting you cloth to suit.

Update: Three caught in Chonburi and Bangkok yesterday. Two have confessed. A fourth has called police to turn himself in. The fuzz appear to work fast when the media heat is on. Pete

Or more likely the gold shop owner offered them a big reward... :| That seems to be the best incentive here.

It looks like the local kids didn’t like him much!

Further questioning of Mr. Kasem, together with information supplied by two of his relatives, Mr. Kai and Mr. Ort, both aged 11 years, further confirmed suspicions that he was one of the gang members.
