Joe Cole Hua Hin property ploy cost us a fortune

It has happened a lot in Thailand going back to the nineties. That's why I would never invest in a condo project that is not 80 to 90% complete.

A lot are sold on promises and artist's conceptions of dream projects to be built later...

Out of curiosity (being a Chelsea fan), anyone know how Joe Cole got involved in this at all? He doesn't strike me as the most obvious frontsperson and hardly has the celebrity of many footballers, he keeps quite a low profile really.

no I dont think it is ok but I do know that this is not what they have done.....It would be criminal if they werent still there but they havent gone anywhere and havent run away from anything therefore I dont think they are responsible I think everyone is looking at the wrong people. Would love to tell why I know but my friends lawyer told him that not allowed to say anything because it could hurt any law suits against the people responsible in the future as they could use it against him! Note: My friend used to blame Lersuang too so I totaly understand where everyone is coming from but there is more to it!!! a lot more!!!!!!

You say "Iknow this & I know that but cannot say because my friends lawyer says he is not allowed!!!!".
If you cannot say anything truthful then don't say anything at all because inuendo's are a fat lot of good.
Still waiting for HHS to tell me what he means by the"cockney binman"

I think he is friends one of the guys that was selling it in Hua Hin.

Only trying to help other buyers and investors understand the truth a little bit more because I saw how angry my friend was and would they be, thought it might help.........SO SORRY!!!!

Of course he is, he was childhood friends with the Presidents of Nike and Samsung too.

I doubt he's even got an Agent.

I suppose he's well-known in England but nowhere else much.
Not really a star.
He's not Ronaldhino or C. Ronaldo (on or off the field).

Well if you know them two you must follow football, if you follow football you know who Joe Cole is.

Ask a Thai, Norwegian or Swede who follows football and they'll know Joe Cole.

If they dont follow football "Joe Cole, England and Chelsea football star" means as much to them as "CuntRonaldo, Manchester United and Portugal football star" as an endorsement.

being dudded is not unique to farangs. Thais are often the victims as well of shonky practices, binmen, shysters, poor regulation and enforcement and lose their shirts via the deposit and thats for small scale developments in the Bkk burbs.

Yes buying off the plan can be dodgy I think the best idea is to buy something already finished or just about completed.When I bought in Hua Hin my house was 80% completed so I saw what I was getting. When you purchase a car you dont look at a photo of it you normally test drive it first
