Anyone know where to buy outdoor speakers ( wall-mounted)

I've been casually looking for some good ones for a couple of years here, but the only ones I've seen are some cheap(ish) ones at the Thai/Chinese audio shop on Sra Song road directly behind the old Hua Hin Shopping Mall. I've seen some nice JBLs in some restaurants here, but when we ask, none of the staff ever know where they came from (BKK, I suspect).
The ones on Sra Song road look ok and come in a box of two with mounts for less than 2k baht last time I checked. If you buy them, let me know if they are any good. They're on the upper shelf on the left as you walk in the front door.

If you want the best, go here in Bangkok. They'll probably outlast our houses. Pete

Most of the speakers you see on offer here are just boom-boxes...yes those that look like Bose replicas.
That shop opposite 'all in HH' and along a bit (towards train station) did me some tweeters (minimal bass), they come as a linked-pair and I got 2 pairs (4 spkrs),they're quite heavy little sods, but kick out a good clear sound, yet quite small, each spkr about 3-4 inch square. I thought pricey at the time,2000b/each pair, but they are bangin music out every day/nite for 8-12 hrs.

I guess you'll get a small AMP there as well?usual suspect wrote: That shop opposite 'all in HH' and along a bit (towards train station) did me some tweeters (minimal bass), they come as a linked-pair and I got 2 pairs (4 spkrs),they're quite heavy little sods, but kick out a good clear sound, yet quite small, each spkr about 3-4 inch square. Thanks
That's the same shop I mentioned in my earlier post. When I go there I don't see any brand names I recognize, so that's why I didn't buy yet, but maybe I'll get them after all after reading what usual suspect wrote.usual suspect wrote:

As to your other question, yes, they have amps, mics, and all kinds of electronics for sound systems. I think it's where the Thais get those giant speakers and pa systems for their parties.
My brain is like an Internet browser; 12 tabs are open and 5 of them are not responding, there's a GIF playing in an endless loop,... and where is that annoying music coming from?

Think I'll go for the small ones then... not looking for the "king of the soi" kinds... just something to play as I'm minding my own business outside the house.
Thanks guys
