Hi there,
I am 36 and moving to Hua Hin at the end of May.
I am very keen to get back into a gym routine and wondered if anyone can recommend any good gyms to go to?
Are their any personal trainers around and how much do they cost?
Which are the best gyms? My research comes up with the Hilton and Palm Hills - how do people rate these?
I also want to start playing tennis again (but would need lessons) again any tips?
I am also keen to get into Yoga, but need variety in all things so whilst in thailand might even look into Martial arts.
After working all my life, I am taking some time off just to get back into some level of fitness and health and wondered what people were enjoying over here?
Any tips much appreciated and any gym buddies much welcomed
Take care
L

Hi there L
I believe that the Sports village has a gym last time I was there it was about 60 baht to use the facilities.

i'd recommend the hilton. i'm playing tennis at least 3 times a week with one of the tennis "knockers" there and they are brilliant at coaching too. i find the membership prices pretty good, and if i'm not wrong if u enroll into a certain package there, you get to use the tennis court for free. some packages even give you a discount for eating at the restaurants. great gym facilities there too. only down side is that you don't get to use the swimming pool.
For Martial Arts and fitness training, I believe Klaus is your man.

I'm sure you'll hook up with some gym buddies too, once you are settled in.
Welcome in advance!

I would agree 100% with Mr Plum's recommendation. If you download a copy of AWOL http://www.huahinmedia.com/awol/, the KT Events Calendar should give you a little idea of what is available. Alternatively, contact Klaus or his wife - they are lovely people and will be more than pleased to discuss your personal needs.
