Just seen the scores - neck and neck with one week left and what a horrible one to call!

Will teams near the bottom now safe chill out and not bother (James of Pompey having an op), or will they relax and play some great stuff? WBA are down, when relegated, such teams normally go out on a high, so to speak? Will the Mancs put a decent squad out now they are champs are ready for the euro final. Same for Chelsea and Everton for the FA cup final???

I think I'll wait for some team announcements before making my choice.

Congratulations Caller - a deserved victory. Commiserations to JD (if it really was you).

On a personal note, I finished 5,656 - outside of my personal goal of being in the top 5,000.

A thoroughly enjoyable season - roll on August :guns:
Championship Plymouth Argyle 1 - 2 Leeds Utd

Points 46; Position 23 RELEGATED

Yes, time to eat crow. Great job Caller, you came through when the pressure was on.

Now, will LG please unmask and identify himself? :D Pete

Thanks guys, it was a close call. It was a good competition and bad luck for LG at the end. But unless JD is using an alias, its not him. LG hasn't hidden his identity on his profile.

I do wonder how things would have turned out if Chris (Guess/BangSaphan) hadn't suffered his illness, as he had a big lead at the time?

I suspect next season will be very tight! I'll be over at some stage in the next few months, probably for an extended break from work and where I come from, the winner buys a round - cheers all!

Not sure what you're suggesting there BaaBaa? LG has himself down as a Manc fan and your team is the scousers?

And is that really your first name???

Thanks for a great season everyone. Hope to see you all back in August. BigBoy beat me just by 5 points to the 6th place. Well, shared 7th with Buksida and BangSaphan isn´t too bad. An ex-champ Lomu a massive 10 points behind us three.

LOBBYGOBBLER here.
Many congratulations to Caller you really came good the last few weeks and fully deserve your champion status. You are obviously the man to beat as your record shows and I would love to buy you a beer sometime mate,so next time you are up in Cha Am let me know and we can meet up.

Lobbys are spuds to many people in areas of Lancashire and some parts of Derbyshire.People from Leigh used to call folk from Wigan "Lobbygobblers which meant when they made a stew they put more spuds in than meat cos they were tight fisted.I cannot substantiate this but the name just cracked me up years ago.
Really enjoyed the competition guys and well done to everyone who took part.
Glory! Glory! Man Utd.

Yes, totally enjoyable and can't wait for the next. Can we begin to set up the mini-league now?

I lost a massive 395 points on my 12 negative weeks which really did me in. Too much 'creativity' I guess

At least I can smile about being 6th in the league for the first two weeks. Next goal: 2,000 points and in the top 10 of HHAD. Time will tell. :D Pete

Higgy, good to see you ID yourself - and explain about the name! :)

It was a close finish with just a bit of luck for me on the final day and if I get to CA I'll certainly take you up on that beer!

Well done, caller.
Yet again an enjoyable season and close for for top two right to the end - as it should be. Next "year":
I must not lose my banker
I must not lose my banker
I must not lose my banker
Etc etc a million times.
The fact that three mods beat me irks a little to say the least

What do we do now? I'm in withdrawal. Weekend here and no picks to make.

USA has the NBA playoffs going on which is a help. Pete
