Thanks for that BaaBaa - I bet you're not as happy as me
Unfortunately, the worry starts all over again now. This year's team will have to be given back next week ie over 50% of the team were loanees.
I'm hoping with the current Global recession that some of the potential Championship players will be forced to drop their wage demands to realistic amounts. The start of last season was a nightmare with several potential signings being lost to the lure of higher wages elsewhere in the Championship - many clubs paying way beyond their means.
The other light at the end of the tunnel is the prospect of the Green Army getting their own Sugar Daddy from Japan. He tried to introduce a couple of Japanese stars into the squad last December/January, but encountered visa problems.
The other question is who will be managing the Green Army next season? Paul Sturrock is suffering from Parkinsons, and I think that was influential to several strange decisions this season. I believe he'll be put out to grass, and new blood brought in. The bad news is that Holloway seems to be a contender. If that happens, this is one Argyle supporter of 50 years who will support them no more.
