We have a very good map on here that took a lot of effort to produce: any chance of a grid reference, please?

I don't think anybody is suggesting that.hhfarang wrote:And don't think just because I'm not British I don't know good fish and chips.
I'll be finding it again this week sometime and then I'll provide precise directions.
Ok, I went there today for lunch... The directions above given by lovethailand are good except that when you go over the bridge, make an immediate left and then the next right on the gravel road, not left. Another left would put you into the canal.Go out towards Cha Am from the Non operating traffic lights (away from town) for about 500 metres you then past the Yellow Bridge where the Arsenal is and then take the next bridge. Over the bridge to your right you'll see Stand Online Internet Cafe once over the bridge turn Left then take next left up a gravel road Brownes is the first building on the Left about 100 Metres from the Junction.
About 2-3 kilometers I'd say. Enough to work up an appetite!thehamok wrote:hhfarang.
Can you say if this place is within walking distance of the Clock Tower - or how far is it.
Have had the fish and chips in the previous place and would like to visit the new place when Im next in Hua Hin.
It appears to be a lot further out than where it was.
Thanks.
Hi therethehamok wrote:Thanks for that.
Yes 2 to 3 is a little too much for me I think especially in the hot humid weather you get in Hua Hin.
Try and find Yate !! I once went to Bristol to find Yate and ended up in a quarryBig Boy wrote:I don't think anybody is suggesting that.hhfarang wrote:And don't think just because I'm not British I don't know good fish and chips.

Precise directions would be useful - if for nothing else, to compare them with lovethailand's directions.
It still seems strange that he'd locate a retail outlet away from the crowds - still, I suppose if the product is good enough, people will travel to find it.
