I never met Chris or Don but I was involved with eaising a small amount to help Chris.
It would be good if there were more positive thoughts and actions were.
Unfortunately no londer resident in HH therefore unable to assist but I do wish Chris and Don better health.

You all seem to think the guy is bed ridden, not the case, this can be verified by at least 4 postee's here. I myself saw him jump off his motorbike come in to the bar and order a drink, he saw me, drank up immediately, paid his bill, skipped over to his motor bike and sped off into the night (end of April). Why the sinister secrecy?

THE FACTS;

HE AND HIS WIFE SUB LET THE SUGARCANE BAR IN HUA HIN.
HE HAS A PENSION FROM ENGLAND.
HE HAS A MOTORBIKE AND PICK UP TRUCK.
HE AND HIS WIFE HAVE REFURBISHED AND FULLY STOCKED A BAR ON THE BEACH IN BANG SAPANG (February).

The last time he was in hospital was not due to a relapse from the original operation but to a motorbike accident.

The above can be verified quite easily, not someone I would call destitute. Why the silence from people who know? Sinister.

He was bed ridden before but time passes and he is now able to get around. He does not have a pension and the only income is from the bar rented out in Hua Hin, but from that he has to pay the rent on it. The story about him buying/renting a bar in Bang Saphan is a complete cock and bull story made up by someone with a vendetta against him, although he has had to move from his previous home in BS to a place that has a restaurant at the front of it, but that has nothing to do with him. He does have a pickup but this has a loan against it, which was to help pay his extensive hospital bills, none of which were incurred because of any motorbike accident. He does have a motorbike as well and surprisingly uses it to get around.
The way you have written your piece of fiction suggests that you are in fact the vindictive idiot that has been spreading this rubbish, and if IP checks prove that then you will be banned from this forum immediately, and any other user names related. What you have written has already been rubbished by people from Bang Saphan so on that note I think this can be put to bed.
I have just spoken to Chris and he is feeling much better in himself, although still struggling to make ends meet, but he is eternally grateful for all the help he has received from people who know the truth. Not wet behind the ear virgins like yourself who wouldn't know how to run a car rental business even if it was backed by Sir Richard Branson.

The Facts

Chris had a fall, causing a massive blood clot on his leg.

So there it is, someone from Bang Sapang stating that he came off his motorbike.

We have also had admissions that he still has a Bar in Hua Hin, this was denied in earlier posting's.

Perhaps if you go down to the idylic bay near the Coral Island Hotel you will see his new bar.

I picked the following post up from another forum this morning. I certainly hope it is not accurate but fear that it is. After some of my earlier posts on this topic Chris contacted me via PM and we had a good exchange of posts that way and at that time he was getting better slowly and there was hope of a full recovery. Also, through that exchange I realized that we had met a few times during the first couple of years that I lived here. I know Chris has some very close friends on this forum so maybe one of you can give us an update on his situation first hand.

Some of you may have had contact with Chris ("Guess") via the BS forum.

I'm sorry to say Chris may not last today.

His friend, Ben from Germany has been looking after him but Chris's liver has finally given up the fight.

If you live in the BS area, Ben could do with some friendly support, Montris or the BS Guesthouse (Martin) could put you in touch.
