Tuk - Property diputes

Post by turnip »

Don't agree that this guy was king of the property disputes

I engaged his help a couple of years ago , emailed all the evidence which was comprehensive proof of theft by the developer

After I followed this up several times I received no reply

Needless to say I later found out that he was being payrolled by the developer in question

As I journalist he proved to be a useful publicity machine for the developer , a longstanding resident of almsot 20 years

My opinion is only based on facts , as you all know you shouldn't believe what you read in the papers

This is particular relevant in countries such as Thailand

Money talks no matter where it comes from

King of propertydisputes ?

Post by thaiorchid »

Answer to post from turnip.

Who has ever claimed that Khun Tuck was the "king" of propertydisputes. Certainly not himself. He took on some cases to help people with developers thai/farang. And I know for a fact, that he never expected the number of cases to be that many, that the market was so dirty. So it is maybe not so strange, that he preferred to use his time on people, who actually walked into his office. Not sending "evidence" by email from abroad.
And turnip with your overwhelming proof of theft from the developer, why did you not get in touch with a lawyer to have your case tried in court.
Ah, the lawyer wants money !!
Khun Tuck did not have any obligations towards anyone. He was not the police, the procescutor or the judge. Whatever cases he chose to do something, was entirely up to him. By reading your post and the attitude
you are bound to get last on the list. Learn a little about Thai culture and how to interact in Thailand.
Where is your proof, that Khun Tuck was on the payroll of "your" developer ?
"A useful publicity machine" for the same developer, maybe I do not know but his newspaper is less than two years old.
20 years ago, there were no developers in HH !!!
"This is particular relevant in countries like Thailand". The developer who cheated you, was he Thai ??
I did not give you many right here, did I ?
At the same time I am sorry that your realestate business went wrong !

I heard that Khun Tuck was descended from the first mayor of Hua Hin that was elected/appointed almost a hundred years ago and that he also had a close relationship with the (now) King when they were both young boys. Anyone know if these are true?
