Where to get car engine cleaned?

Can anyone recommend a place to get a car engine cleaned?
Got a small oil leak but need the grime cleaned off to be able to see where it’s coming from.

Most of the carwash places do it .Don't know which are best but I go to the one by the grand hotel,MV and the one on the way to the fishing lodge .Good service from all .

If you're referring to the type with the high pressure spray in the engine bay, don't!!!

It shorted the spark plug leads (the water pooled around the spark plug cavity and got sucked in when it cooled down.) I had to change a complete set which cost $$$$. If you need a clean engine most dealerships do some sort of a foam or solvent type clean.

If you've got an oil leak take it in to a proper mechanic to get it sorted. They'll probably clean it up as well.

Couldn't agree more. Spark plug problems are not all that can happen when an untrained boy blasts away at an engine with those things. Many horror stories about what has happened with electrics, electronics and water inside the engine itself. Pete
