A few days in Ranchiburi

I am considering taking a short break from my coming golf holiday in HH to travel to Rachaburi. The idea is to play golf obviously but I also enjoy beer bars at night. Can anyone comment if there is suitable night entertainment for a solitary farang who needs to get up early each day for golf. Also, any guesthouses that can be recommended.
