Sure you know about these following points but it is worth a mention. I'm no doctor so don't take this as gospel but it's just what I'm aware of regarding your question subject matter. However, I could be completely wrong.
Y'know, there are pharmacies here and there are "pharmacies" here. Depends which one you mean? But, generally, I'd say:
1. Might not be easy from your average pharmacy here and even if they did have them then checking whether the place has air-con or not is a good idea, if not, then be careful what you buy as many things need to be kept cool.
Found this about 'Altace Tablets' (Ramipril),
"Store at controlled room temperature, 20° to 25°C (68° to 77°F) with excursions permitted between 15° and 30°C (59° to 86°F)."
I would probably buy them from a proper hospital, OK, more expensive, but condition/quality of said drug is more guaranteed.
2. Ramipril is also known as/goes under the name of 'Altace Tablets', could be worth a mention.
3. ACE inhibitors are complicated drugs and have all kinds off effects that can be detrimental under certain conditions. Get them from a decent hospital under a doc's supervision would be the best idea.
4. If you're pegnant then it's a bad idea to take them.
Can't say much else as I'm not a doc, just pointing out the obvious.
I would probably say that the answer is "No" to your question and if they are available then I would be sceptical of buying this type of drug over the counter, even if you know a lot about the drug and are taking it somewhere else already.
