Well if relaxing on the veranda with the radio in the background is noise, then ok, I'll enjoy my NOISE
May I suggest that you replace outdoor speakers with a set of high-quality earphones. Earphones may bring you immense listening pleasure while at the same time refraining your neighbors from turning up their speakers to overgo yours, which in turn may cause their neighbors, which in turn etc. etc. And if you do have noisy neighbors, the earphones may even keep their noise away from your ears

I've seen some nice JBLs in some restaurants here, but when we ask, none of the staff ever know where they came from (BKK, I suspect).
The ones on Sra Song road look ok and come in a box of two with mounts for less than 2k baht last time I checked. If you buy them, let me know if they are any good. They're on the upper shelf on the left as you walk in the front door.
Hi
I finally went and got the speakers, been working great so far. They were just the size i was looking for (about 15 by 20 cm) good sound. The shop have moved though, just south of the palace I think it was, ( I made a lot of stops before I found it )
