I found Winner to be very reasonable, but if you wish to spend more and do not wish to go to the expense of Teak, I suggest the Rubber Wood.

There is a good shop south called Orientally, which is just before World of Luxury Furniture - who also had good deals with Rubber Wood ( it looks very much like Mahogany.

Home Pro has pretty much everything else.

Yes, Orientally builds very high quality stuff. They have a huge wood/furniture factory in Bangkok and can build to order from a photo or drawing. They have designers that can even work with you to design built-in furnishings.

They (before they opened the Hua Hin outlet) built and installed our kitchen and bar and did a great job at a reasonable price.

Big Kiang has a furniture outlet on Soi 112 with lots of stuff.
It's actually on the corner of Phetkasem Road and Soi 114. They had an especially good selection of outdoor/patio furniture the last time I was in there.
Right you are, Soi 114 and Phetkasem it is. Big Kiang has a very large selection of all kinds of furniture, as does the store on the Canal Road. Prices appear to be lower in the latter shop. While the quality and design of furniture found at Index resembles that available from IKEA stores, the quality at Big Kiang and the Canal Road store is, IMHO, substandard. However, many will find this to be OK as a first and limited time investment. 8)
Hi

I try to locate Soi 114 on Google map, but I can't find it.
On Google the last Soi No. you can see is 110

Go south out of town over the flyover on Phetkasem road. Less than a kilometer after the flyover you will see Soi 114 and Big Kiang on your right (west side, don't remember if their sign is in English). It's obvious because it's a big, warehouse looking, place and you'll see the outdoor furniture displayed along the front door which is the entire width of the building.

Orientally is about a kilometer further south on the other (East) side of the road.

This newer Big Kiang (I call it Bigger Kiang) doesn't have a sign in English on it, but as you say it's a big open fronted warehouse and hard to miss.

We have also purchased some rubberwood furniture from Orientally and were very pleased with it. Price was very reasonable quality very good and they delivered on time both times. The second order we had a custom made dresser and they did a great job on it.

Very nice to deal with also.

That's the bar (in the back of the home theater). The other photo is the kitchen... but I'm with you, that's why the bar is well stocked!

Damned little buggers... the only good thing about them is that they don't like Single Malt!

Surprised that you can afford Single Malt after forking out for that kitchen.
It`s beautiful.
