Yes, welcome shunpike. Concerning 'doffing shoes' in a real sense.......

A German neighbor had friends visiting from Germany and first entrance into the house resulted in a slip on a marble floor and a broken hip for one of them. What a way to start a vacation. :shock:

Those used to plodding around their home in shoes I guess are not used to the Asian bare foot routine. Come to think of it, I guess most tourists here don't take their shoes off in their hotel rooms either. Pete :cheers:

OUCH..

Must say, the doffing of the shoes is a bit easier here when you usually get around in a pair of flip flops..
