But NOT Obama.
He's probably the worst of the lot... you just don't know it yet because he's got the media and the sheeple fooled. :D
My brain is like an Internet browser; 12 tabs are open and 5 of them are not responding, there's a GIF playing in an endless loop,... and where is that annoying music coming from?

Get used to it!!

Hey I still find it refreshing to have a REAL president for a change instead of a puppet. I give him high marks for doing the job . .not perfectly, nobody could do that job perfectly . . .but extraordinarily well. Still very proud I voted for him and proud of him for the job he is doing.

(Worse than Bush? You would have to dig pretty damn deep to find anyone to fit that bill . .Bozo the Clown perhaps?

And how did a thread on bar girls turn into a lets knock all the politicians in the world commentary anyway? HHAD
Gotta just sit back and smile :P

All this digressing from the original post is so funny.

Back to point it was made a few posts back. When your no longer payingher fine and she is exclusive to you then she is your GF.

Problem is that is when it generally gets more expensive.

My sister said to me be careful with a Thai girl all they want is a passport. I said no they don't they all want to see snow and once they do they are generally clamouring to get back to Thailand.

The main thing a Thai girl wants is security and a man with a good heart. Play with them badly and they have a vicious way of making you lose everything.

Your right there butI do hate the A Thai girl only wants you for your money attitude.

Sure there are some Thai girls like that but aren't there also some western women like that?

I'll just add my two-pennyworth in here from a female, western woman's perspective.

Of course I'd like security from my boyfriend/husband, but I'd also work to contribute to that financial security. I certainly wouldn't expect to be a lady of leisure before I reach retirement age. I have seen, and know of, quite a few Thai/farang relationships where a young lass relies totally on the finances of her partner and expects him to provide for everything. That really wouldn't happen in the west.

an unfortunately rare, but welcome perspective on this type of topic :thumb:

but, i can quite confidently state that i've seen quite a few of the same situations in western relationships.

You really can't generalise these things as it's up to the individual and not something you can put onto nationalities.
For instance my Thai partner, and some others I know, still carries out farming in Issan whilst I'm away working so as to help genarate some money to help support herself.

Maybe I'm old fashioned, but I've never thought it right for my wife to go out to work. In my opinion, it is my responsibility to provide the funds, and my wife's resposibility to run the house, care for the kids etc.

Having said that, my wife has taken it upon herself on several occassions during our marriage to get a job to help us over tricky spells eg my son is currently in Japan, and she got a job off her own back for a couple of months to help me fund the trip - I wouldn't have dreamt of asking. I think it's down to good teamwork.

You hit the nail on the head there :D

always treat your partner as justthat a partner and you will usually get the respect back.

Like I say you get a rotten apple sometimes but we just have to weed them out as best we can.

My wife and I have been together for 10 years.

She works in the UK and I am retired  but she has never once asked for money from me.

When ever we go to London and I drag her down Oxford St she refuses to go into the shops, when I want to buy her something for herself.

Even when we married and I wanted to get her a diamond ring, she refused and bought herself one, a year after the event. :cuss:

OK, she has her own money and we share household expenses like houses and holidays ETC ,but sometimes it gets my back up.

On the other side of the equation, she insists on buying expensive presents for me. :?

I can't win, but I love her to bits. :D
I've lost my mind and I am making no effort to find it.

My Thai wife and I both work, but to put a different spin on things, she vastly out earns me... I do well enough to take care of my needs but she always says "your money or mine..it all goes into the same pocket". I can deal with that.. :D :D
