Useful Directions when in Thailand

Post by chelsea »

Have a friend who had had to take some of her students from Chiang Mai to Trang for some sort of National School Sports competition and have gone down in a School minibus.
When she travels she always sms me where she is along the trip. She wanted to know how far is was from Surat Thani to Trang.
So I tried to find on the net the distance for her and found this site. It has google map, detailed distances and the best thing is details directions on what roads to take and distances in between turn offs etc
http://distancecalculator.globefeed.com ... tolng=99.6
May make things a bit easier for newcomers or tourists that want to take the chance with driving and sort of distance over there.

FYI, you can do the same on Google Maps, just click on "Get Directions".
