Water Purifier

My wife wants to get a water Purifier, any idea's on cost, quality brand and were in HH we can pick one up, as the choice may be limited in Surin, i think it will be a good idea to get one in HH.
I know this may sound daft, but we have had to connect to the village water supply so if we filter the water will it be 100% safe to drink.

Index have a good selection, I have a "new Wave" in stainless steel. Price is less tan Bht 10000. Works very well.

Best place for water filters in Hua Hin is the Pure outlet opposite Index on the Petchkasem Road north of the town. They have a good selection, will fit them free and guarantee them. I had one fitted a month ago and it's great.
