Easy peasy this one.... just your IMHO on what the point of this local vehicle sticker scheme is.
I cant help it - when some scheme like this is touted as offering increased security for the ASEAN lot I start to pick it apart and see what the outcomes are likely to be. Its what Im trained to do....
so
as far as I can see all this will achieve is massive traffic problems. Roadblocks with long long tailbacks.... and a lot more full pocketed MIBS.
see the simple fact is that theres a highway running thru town, so how is this scheme going to control all that traffic? Are they seriously suggesting that all through traffic will be stopped and checked? Really? So that will be 6 mile tailbacks each end of town then. And at junctions round town for local traffic.... ah so there will be massive snarl ups all round town as well.
And the point is what? To stop the red shirt peons protesting? How exactly? Are they telling me that protestors cant get on buses and trains?
IMHO: This is another standard Thai response - utterly fing stupid, ill thought out, and designed to save face while actually achieveing nothing at all. Supported by the local stinky plod who will use it to screw more 200bht "fines" out of people.

Someone is also making money on the manufacture of the stickers, billing the central government. I wonder what cost/billed is? Pete

I voted # 2 but can I also give # 3 a tick?
Luckily we are in UK at the mo, but if we were in LOS we would reserve the conference dates for some R&R in Nakhon Sawon and avoid the chaos that is bound to happen in HH.
Security stickers !!! you couldn't make it up could you.
What percentage of the MIB are able to match the Reg on the sticker to the one on the car Reg plate?
I pity you guys when the conference hits town.
Get out, get out now.

I've lost my mind and I am making no effort to find it.
I voted for both 2 & 3 (or A & B).
Bet the printing contract negotiations were all legit and both parties where in no way, shape or form, previously connected either, hmmmmmm.
Think I will be staying at home during the conference, or taking a taxi if I get an itchin to go have a few cold one's.

When Chuck Norris does a push up, he isn't pushing himself up, he is pushing the earth down.
Yeah, right... plus the instructions are to stick them on the outside of the windshield with a clear sticky cover (provided). I'm guessing it wouldn't be too hard just to steal one off someone elses car.Now you've all seen them, how easy would they be to copy? I assume they've made them too difficult to duplicate
My brain is like an Internet browser; 12 tabs are open and 5 of them are not responding, there's a GIF playing in an endless loop,... and where is that annoying music coming from?
