I have a nice faux leather office/desk chair at home, and as usual the crappy plastic base spider legs & castors have given in and two are now knackered. My fault for leaning back too hard on em.
Thing is, the top part is OK and seems a waste to just lob it away.
Heres the question: Is there a shop round town that can fit a new base on it, or alternately is there a metal worker about who could hammer me up a set of tubular metal legs for it and weld em on without setting fire to it or buggering it up even more?
Im not mean and stingy...just hate wasting a perfectly good seat because the legs broke. Seems wasteful.
Anyone?
