Hi everybody
Some thoughts from an old HHAD vet
Firstly, great to see so many new members join
Secondly, great to see the warm welcome they get.
Thirdly, good guidance from our admin and mods
Since living in the sticks I have broadened my site usage into the Isaan provinces and found the following:
Difficulty in registering (owner in in the back of beyond)
Moderation abysmal or non existant
No started pack for guidance
Banter not controlled as many topics go off on a tangent
Topics kept provincial and outsiders rebuffed.
I think we have a lot to thank admin and the mods for Guidance and control of topic
Ride on HHAD
ps. No I am not after brownie points. Had my boll***s ripped off too many times for that!. Just feel it should be said

RICHARD OF LOXLEY
It’s none of my business what people say and think of me. I am what I am and do what I do. I expect nothing and accept everything. It makes life so much easier.

Well said Richard. And agreed with everything you say. It's not until you use other forums that you realise just how well run HHAD is - both Mod wise and technically. Layout is excellent and the whole thing so easy to use.
It maybe helps that the original perps of HHAD all know eachother and live in a small enough community to enable regular meetings. That 'personal' feel - and the resulting cohesion between Mods - I'm sure rubs off on new members wherever they are.

A sprout is for life - not just for Christmas.
